An Italian based in Jamaica, DJ Pietro is the link between two dancefloor cultures: the sun-drenched house of the Mediterranean and the groove of the island. Schooled in the Italian clubs where house has been a religion since the 80s, he settled on the island and earned his place on the local scene through elegant, generous sets. His speciality is the warm-up: raising the temperature without forcing it, moving a crowd from afternoon sun-loungers to the dancefloor with a deep, melodic, sun-soaked selection. At We Love House he opens the day on the sands of Pineapple Beach and sets the tone for everything that follows.
